Magda Kosmala-Banasik is a urogynecological physiotherapist, a manual therapist of fascial methods (Fascial Distortion Model and Fascial Manipulation), and a licensed instructor of Pilates, BodyART, and classes for pregnant and postpartum women. She is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. She is currently a student of osteopathy at the Academy of Osteopathy in Warsaw. She is a member of the Program Council of the Endopolki Foundation.
She specializes in working with women suffering from endometriosis and perinatal care. She has a mission in her field and wants to spread as much knowledge about urogynecology as possible. She uses visceral therapy methods to improve the mobility of internal organs, provides exercise instruction for self-practice at home, and uses manual therapy to reduce pain symptoms in patients, such as painful intercourse and painful menstruation.
In 2015, she volunteered in Malawi on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the "Polish Aid" program. In 2016, she led workshops for participants of the Chinese yoga school "Yoga Village" in Xiamen.
In addition to providing individual patient care in her office, she is committed to supporting the EndoKobiet community by co-organizing in-person, off-site, and online workshops. Another area of her work is social media education, where Magda normalizes urogynecological issues, combats perpetuated myths, and demonstrates exercises that support women's bodies after endometriosis surgery, a C-section, or postpartum.
